Room to study
Friday, January 30th, 2009Do you have a group project and need a place to meet? Are all the tables on the 5th floor full? We have private study rooms that you can use. You need a group of three or more people to be able to check one out.
Some of them are reserve-able online or go the Circulation Desk on the 4th floor and ask about them there.

Thursday, January 29th, 2009Why don’t you get a job?
Thursday, January 29th, 2009We often get lots of questions about working in the library especially at the beginning of each semester. When we have available positions for students you can find them here. You can click on the job you are interested in and submit an application.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any student jobs listed right now, but keep checking. They are posted on an as needed basis.

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009That’s fine with me!
Tuesday, January 27th, 2009Getting a bunch of library fines isn’t fine at all. Don’t let money you owe the library keep you from registering for classes or graduating.
It’s so easy to keep track of materials you have checked out and renew them online, that you shouldn’t have any fines at all!
But if you do slip up and let something get overdue here’s how you can take care that pesky fine:
- in person at the Circulation Desk with cash, check, credit card, or Tiger 1 card
- mail a check to Circulation
- online by accessing My Library Account
If you want to know more about fines and such, go here and click on what you are; faculty, staff, grad student, undergrad, etc.

Monday, January 26th, 2009Listen up!
Monday, January 26th, 2009Now that all the media has been moved to the 4th floor, we’ve also moved 5 viewing/listening stations to the 4th floor for your convenience. Most of the stations have the equipment to watch a DVD or a VHS tape.
You can find them midway back against the wall near the Resource Sharing office. If you need assistance using them, please see someone at the Circulation Desk.
