This 1981 pin is from the exhibit “It’s Not Polite to Talk About It: Money and Financial Topics from the Holdings of CU Libraries’ Special Collections.†It refers to a bill sponsored by SC Senator Strom Thurmond that made important revisions to federal anti-trust laws to more fairly place liability on everyone involved. The legislation eventually became The Antitrust Equal Enforcement Act of 1982.
The exhibit is on display in the Special Collections exhibit area on the lower level of the Strom Thurmond Institute building through April 2009.
