Your User ID (also called your User Name) is your permanent and unique identifier that you'll need every time you access the Clemson University computer network. It is also used in front of "@clemson.edu" in your official Clemson University email address.

It is a code usually made up of a combination of letters from your first and last names. You should have received a letter from the university that included your CUID number and your User ID. If you don't have the letter, to find your User ID:

• Use your last name and your CUID number (found on your Tiger 1 Card) to use this User ID Lookup .
  
  
• Go to the Clemson University Phone Book.
  1. Type your full first and last names in the boxes provided.
  2. Look at the line labeled email. Your User ID is what you see just before @clemson.edu.
     
     
• Call the CCIT Help Desk at (864) 656-3494. Be sure to identify yourself as a Distance Education student.
