The map cases are on the third floor of the library, down one floor from the main floor. As you descend the main stairwell, bear left.

Cases 12 - 14
USGS & Bureau of Land Management 30 x 60 minute 1:100,000 scale maps
*The 30 x 60 min. series is an intermediate-scale series.  These quads are produced in planimetric and/or topometric formation, and some coastal areas are produced in bathymetric formation.  The BLM maps show surface-management status and surface/mineral management status.  These maps cover a 30 minute by 60 minute area (1500-2200 square miles). They are used in geology, planning, routing utilities and pipelines, and as a base for creating road maps. A 1:120,000-scale map of Puerto Rico is also filed with this series.
