USGS, DMA, AMS & Forest Service
1:24,000 & 1:25,000 scale maps
*These drawers contain current USGS, Forest Service, DMA, & older AMS maps
of 7.5 minute quads in each U.S. state. They are grouped alphabetically
by states and quad name. The USGS and Forest Service maps are scaled 1:24,000.
The AMS & DMA maps are scaled 1:25,000. These maps cover a 7.5 minute
x 7.5 minute area (50-70 square miles). These large-scale topographic maps are
primarily used for resource and engineering planning, backpacking, hunting,
or other recreational activities. These are maps with a lot of detail.
