The map cases are on the third floor of the library, down one floor from the main floor. As you descend the main stairwell, bear left.

USGS Topo Index/Ordering Use the USGS Store to locate maps by clicking on "Enter USGS Store," then clicking on the "Map Locator" image in the store to help you find a map.

County Map Series
1:100,000 scale

A county map may consist of one or more sheets, depending on the size of the county. About 20 percent of the Nation's counties are covered, 10 percent at 1:50,000 and 10 percent at 1:100,000 scale. Less detail is shown on the 1:100,000 scale county maps because of space restrictions at the smaller scale. An index to these maps is on the back of the Index to Intermediate-Scale Maps in case 16, drawer 10.
