1790 - date are available on the U.S. Patent Office (USPTO) Home Page http://www.uspto.gov.
You must have a TIFF Viewer installed to view and print these
files. The USPTO has information about free
TIFF viewers.

Patrons in the Library can print copies for .10 per page.
Patents from 1790 to date are available on DVD-ROM in the Patents/Tax Room on Level 4. Printing is free of charge. Utility Patents granted from 1973 - 1999 and Design Patents granted from 1983 - 1999 are available on microfilm in Reserve and Media Room on Level 2. Copies may be made for .10 a page. Plant Patents from 1931 - 1994 are on color microfiche in the patent searching room. Black and white copies may be made in the Reserve and Media Room on Level 2 for .10 per page. Color prints of Plant Patents from 11/29/94 to date are available in Government Documents on Level 3. Please see a Reference Librarian for assistance.
