CDs

What Sets of CDs for many different foreign languages.  Most come with multiple CDs and accompanying booklets or texts.
Where In the Languages Learning section to the left of the Media Services Desk.

Do a Keyword search in the library catalog to see what titles are available.  Include: audiobooks self-instruction [name of the language]

Rosetta Stone

A headset/microphone is recommended to use the voice-recognition feature. Media Services has some for check-out.

Read the Checklist in the kit to properly install the application CD-Rom on your computer.

Note:

Several NetLibrary eAudiobooks for learning foreign languages are also available for download through the library catalog.

To see available titles, do a keyword search in the library catalog for netlibrary audiobooks self-instruction

Once you've set up a NetLibrary account (which must be done on a computer in the Clemson University network), up to 10 eAudiobooks can be downloaded to your personal computer.  The checkout period is 21 days and eAudiobooks can be renewed.

The download can be synced to your listening device or player of choice using Windows Media Player or other player.  Please Note: Apple iPods and Microsoft Zunes are not compatible with NetLibrary eAudiobooks.
