Finding Newspapers

The Clemson Libraries have online access to newspaper articles in hundreds of newspapers from the United States and around the world. Check the Newspapers page to access online newspapers.

The Libraries also have print subscriptions to several local, regional, national, and international newspapers.

The latest issues of these print newspapers are kept in newspaper stands in the Cooper Library lobby (4th floor) to the right of the entrance. Older issues are kept in the Current Periodicals Area on the 4th floor of Cooper Library. (NOTE: The latest issue of the Wall Street Journal is kept at the Circulation Desk on the 4th floor of Cooper Library.)

To find out if the Libraries physically own a specific newspaper, do a title search in the library catalog for the name of the newspaper (for example, london times or chicago tribune). The catalog record will tell what years of the newspaper the Libraries have.

Ask at the Reference Desk for help locating newspapers.
