Renew
Items
- You may bring materials to the Circulation Desk in Cooper Library or the Architecture Library for renewal, or just your Library courtesy card. It is not necessary to have your books with you to have them renewed! You can also renew your books online through “Your Library Account”. You can log in with your courtesy card number. Only one renewal per check out period allowed.
Recall/Hold Items
If a book is checked-out, you may request a recall/hold using My Library Account. Log in, search the catalog for the item you you want to recall or hold, then click on the hold/recall button. The patron who has it is guaranteed two weeks, but must then return it. You will be notified when it is available. All books are subject to recall.
If you do not return a recalled item by the specified date, you will be charged $1.00 per day late fee and not be able to check out or recall anything else.
Holds can be submitted on Popular Reading items and books that are due in less than two weeks. When a book is placed on hold, the person who has it charged out cannot renew it. When the book is returned, it is then held for the next person on the hold list.
Please note that recall requests take precedence over hold requests.
