Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is a free service for Clemson University students, faculty, and staff that allows you to request books, photocopies of articles, dissertations, and other materials not owned by the Clemson Libraries. Materials requested through Interlibrary Loan take 7-14 days or longer to obtain.

The Clemson Libraries use the ILLIAD Interlibrary Loan system, which allows you to store your personal profile so you will not need to re-enter it every time you order, edit existing orders, and track the progress of your requests.

The first time you use the system, you will need to register and create a username and password.  If you need help registering, please ask at the Reference Desk or at the Interlibrary Loan Office (Room 413 on the 4th (main) floor of Cooper Library).
