• The lending library specifies the length of time items may be kept.
  
  
• The due date is written on the paper band attached to the item.
  
  
• Renewal of items should be requested online at least three days prior to the date due. Some libraries do not grant renewals, so please plan to pick up and use ILL materials promptly.
  
  
• The lending library may specify conditions which must be followed for use of material, such as "no copying permitted" or "for use in the library only."
  
  
• You are responsible for the safe return of loans to the Circulation Desk or the Resource Sharing/Interlibrary Loan office. Failure to observe the rules of ILL may result in the loss of borrowing privileges.
  
  
• You are responsible for lost book and processing fees charged by the lending library.
