The Clemson University Records Management Unit has earned the following awards:

• The South Carolina State Historical Records Advisory Board 2003 Award of Merit for development of a Model University Archives & Records Management Program.
  
  
• The South Carolina Department of Archives and History 2001 Award of Excellence for success in both records management and compliance with provisions of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History Public Records Program.
  
  
• The South Carolina Department of Archives and History 2001 Innovation Award for success in streamlining the records disposition process through cooperative efforts with the Campus Recycling Program.
  
  
• The South Carolina Department of Archives and History 2000 Records Management Achievement Award for unit success in both records management and compliance with provisions of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History Public Records Program.
• The South Carolina Department of Archives and History 2000 Innovation Award for success in applying web-based technology to several aspects of records management, thereby facilitating access to retention schedules and forms for both customers and records management staff.
• The South Carolina Department of Archives and History 1999 Records Management Achievement Award for accomplishments in records management.
• The South Carolina Department of Archives and History 1997 Records Management Achievement Award for accomplishments in records management.
• The South Carolina Department of Archives & History 1997 Records Management Innovation Award for establishing an internal auditing procedure that resulted in successful records schedule compliance.
