netLibrary
NetLibrary, a collection of
books available online, contains the full text of over 27,000 titles
(including university press books, reference
and professional
books) and 4,000 plus titles in the public domain, mostly literary
classics.
The loan period for books is
2 hours, or you can "preview" a book for 15 minutes without
formally checking it out.
If a book is already checked out, you can't
borrow or preview it or place a hold on it.
To check out a book,
you must first set up a netLibrary account. Each patron must set
up his/her own account.
You can search anonymously,
but you must set up your account and create a user profile to view
books. Please
read and understand the license agreement before agreeing to the terms
in
that agreement.
