To find recordings in the library, do an "Advanced Search." Select Music Recording in the Material Type drop-down menu. Then type appropriate keywords in the search boxes.

To find recordings on compact disc only, add the phrase "compact disc" to a keyword search:

example: japan* compact disc

To find all the recordings in a specific language, also select a language from the "Language" drop-down menu, then type "sound recording" in the "Any Keyword" search box.

To find DVDs and videos in the library, on the Basic Search screen, select DVDs/Videos from the drop-down menu to the right of the search box. Then type the search.

To find DVDs only, add the word "DVD" to the search:

example: bunuel dvd

To find DVDs or videos in a specific language, do an Advanced Search. Select "DVD or Video" in the "Material Type" drop-down menu and the language in the Language drop-down menu.

To find all the DVDs or videos in a specific language, select the language, then type "videorecording" in the "Any Keyword" search box.
