Search the catalog for books and other materials in the Clemson Libraries.

Plays:

1. Do title or author searches.
   
   
2. Try keyword searches using the author's last name and significant words in the title to find plays in anthologies, for example: simon barefoot park
   
   
3. If #1 and #2 don't work, try the database LitFinder, which contains many full-text plays (note: this database is only available on campus.)
   
   
4. If #1 and #2 and #3 don't work, use Inter-Play: An Online Index to Plays in Collections, Anthologies, and Periodicals or WorldCat to identify a book or magazine that contains the play, then search the Clemson Libraries Catalog for that book or periodical.

One-Act Plays or Ten Minute Plays: To find collections of one-act or ten minute plays, do keyword searchs.

Monologue Books: do a keyword search including the word "monologues."

You can also use the Twentieth Century North American Drama database to search for monologues (search for scenes with one person).

Scene Books: do a keyword search:

You can also use the Twentieth Century North American Drama database to search for scenes by specific criteria, for example, number of characters, gender, race, genre, etc.

Improvisation Materials: do a keyword search:
