This site comes from M.I.T. and is affiliated with the Intelligent
Information Infrastructure Project. Its stated mission is "to design
networked, interactive media that improve citizens' participation in
the democratic process." Highlights of the site include a few
publications, a bibliography (of text-based resources) of political
uses of the Internet, and a Grassroots Directory of political
organizations including names, addresses, phone numbers, annual
budgets, and stated goals.
