The opening ceremonies of the Olympics are tonight. Are you going to watch?

and the library is closing at 5:00pm today and tomorrow.

Intersession will last until Thursday, August 14. Regular hours will resume on Friday, August 15. Go here to see the hours for Cooper as well as the branch libraries and Java City.

There’s still a little time to get in some leisure reading before fall semester gets started. Take a look at some of the latest additions to our Popular Reading and Audiobooks collection.

Clemson Facilities is planning a steam outage on August 6, 2008 starting at 7:30am until 4:30pm effecting Cooper Library and the Strom Thurmond Institute. Hot water, humidification and building heating systems will be effected during this outage. The outage is required to make steam piping connections for the new Rhodes Hall Annex project.

If you like to wash your hands with hot water, you might want to bring some hand sanitizer instead.

The people on ladders project otherwise known as the Network/Wiring Project:
Work on 3rd and 4th floor continues. They hope to complete those floors by the start of classes on August 20. Work is also continuing on the 1st and 2nd floors.

When this is completed there will be many more network connections for you to use on all the floors in Cooper.
